TEACHING CHILDREN TO LIVE FOR GOD

We believe that giving children the opportunities to learn about God and His love for each child and humanity in general, enable them to accept themselves and get to understand how to depend on God for the rest of their lives.

DLM Children’s Services are focused on ensuring that that each child experiences the

Love of God and understand that they are most cherished.

DLM Children’s Services teachers are made up of a committed group of people with a love and passion for children and their families. They are experience Nursery Teachers with many years’ experience of teaching children as well as being true Christians who have worked in the church for many years. They use different ways of teaching to help the children to understand the Bible, who they are and the great opportunities that God has for each of them in life. The children’s activities are informative and full of fun.

WHAT DO WE DO?

DLM Children Service involves the use of Bible scripture resources such as songs crafts, dance, games drama and special events to on children characters in the Bible. Through fun activities, our Children’s Service teachers encourage Children to participate in meaningful drama, music and ministry, which provides them with opportunities to develop their God-given talents and gifts. Our Teachers present Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour and His Church, as His representative to bring transformation in our lives, communities, nations and the world as a whole. Our teachings are conducted in way as to give children the space to make their decision, creating moments which children will never forget.

Teaching Biblical Truths

We find the Bible as God’s Word to all human beings. We accept the Bible as the most amazing book ever written. It is one of the oldest books that exists and it is still the all-time best seller and it teaches principle which are more relevant to us today than any other things we are taught. Our exceptional Sunday School teachers make sure that children are not only taught stories in the Bible but how to apply the Word of God to their daily living.

Building Healthy Relationship

God created human beings to develop healthy relationships. We therefore teach children in our Children’s Service to learn to build healthy with their parents/guardians, family members, teachers and peers. They are taught how to build their confidence to grow in their faith and relatively with others assertively. Family Church Service ensures that our children are always safe and learn to keep themselves safe.

Motivating Environment

We create a warm and motivating environment for children and their parents to engage with teachings from the Bible which are age appropriate. The lessons are intentionally designed and pitched at a level that children and their parents can understand. DLM Sunday School teachers are very passionate about supporting children have memorable experiences. We help children to understand that they are of great value.

Keeping Children Safe

The safety of children and the Sunday School Teachers is a highest priority. For this reason, we ensure that all Teachers have clean background checks (enhanced DBS). All children and their parents are given unique identification numbers to help them check in. No visitors and leaders of the church are allowed to go into the children’s room except with the authorisation of the person in charge of Sunday School services.

Sunday School Is Fun

Children have a lot of energy and they need activities that will help them shed off some energy. We create a lot of fun activities to enable the children to engage with activities. We know that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back! The Sunday School Teacher make sure that children have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

CHILDREN’S RESOURCES

DLM Children’s Service is partnering with the LifeKids Church to provide resources for children and their parents or guardians to ensure that we teach the children about God’s Love at home and in the church.

Train up children (start children off) in the way they should go; even when they are old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6)

 We believe that that by working with parents and guardian children will learn and live the Bible principles that they learn and this will help them to shape their future for themselves and for God.
