MINISTRY TO THE DESTITUTE

Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the
afflicted and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy;
save them from the hand of the wicked.

DLM seek to respond to the heart of our God in taking care of the destitute – the poor, homeless, widows and the rejected. Our Ministry to the Destitute seeks to provide life essentials such as food, clothes, medicines and support for shelter to those who are victims of life’s challenging circumstances. The Ministry to the Destitute exploits the opportunities for supporting those in need to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Ministry’s members engage in friendly conversations and pray with the individual, if they so wish. Where they are interested, those in need are invited to church. Our members are committed to ensuring that any person in need that they encounter is supported to get their lives back on track and achieve their destinies.

WHO WE HELP

DLM Ministry to the Destitute seek to help as many people it is practical possible. The Ministry provides focuses on supporting homeless young people with food, clothes, beddings and advisory services to help them access accommodation, health care or get back into education, training and employment. In addition, the Ministry supports a range of people facing challenges in life. These include:

People with Mental Health

Veterans Neglected

Rough Sleepers

Young Families

Your donations will help us to support many people who become homeless every year across England. We provide them with immediate daily essentials they need and fund various training programmes, offer them access to essential services for counselling and skills they need to rediscover their sense of purpose, become self-independent and feel part of society again.
